2026 WARRIORS GAMES
New year, new tournaments! This year, Taekwondo Alliance will be hosting its first tournament of the year: Warriors Games.
Taekwondo Alliance looks forward to hosting another high-energy day of competition and sportsmanship to celebrate the dedication athletes show in their dojang, providing a stage where they can put their skills to the test against other athletes from other dojangs, and as well further grow their skills as they gain more experience in Taekwondo under a tournament/competitive setting.
We hope to see many familiar AND brand new faces. A gentle reminder that there is no minimum age or belt required to participate. All Tam’s Taekwondo students are encouraged to participate as it is a different experience than what is taught in class. As well, it is a way to understand WHO and WHAT is Taekwondo Alliance as Tam’s Taekwondo students have a chance to meet their alliance club: Spirit 1 Taekwondo.
We’d also love to remind those who are afraid to compete that their opponents will always be in the same skill group as them (same belts, age, height, weight, etc.) unless stated otherwise AND with athlete’s permission. Hurt competitors are never the goal or intention; competitors who gain more confidence and knowledge are. We want to keep the competition as fair as it can be.
If you are interested, please read the Tournament Package before registering.
**Please read through everything thoroughly as it may answer potential questions.

SCREENING FOR UPCOMING TEST
Please note that screening will be starting soon to send students to the upcoming test happening Saturday, April 18.
**Further information will be posted as the date gets closer.
All students are encouraged to practice at home in preparation for the test, both physically and mentally. If you have any questions or need help on your patterns, please ask your instructors for help.
Students are expected to know all their poomsae/patterns and need to perform them at the test with no help.

You’ve reached the end of the newsletter, thank you for reading.
